I don't think this is a good idea. I prefer starting a new Mt. Rushmore with Reagan and Trump. Maybe Eisenhower. Oh, and while Rush Limbaugh wasn't a President maybe we can tack him up there too! Maybe Calvin Coolidge.
Mount Rushmore Could Get Trump Upgrade Under GOP Push
In a letter sent Thursday to U.S. Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum, Ogles called on the federal government to consider engraving President Trump’s likeness alongside George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln.
Maybe they should have one ear purposely deformed on the statue as a reminder to how close Trump came to being assassinated - and then didn't stop.

Awesome: Hakeem Jeffries Warns of "Deportation Machine on Steroids" as House Passes Trump’s "Big Beautiful Bill"
His anger at this should prove once and for all that the Democrats really do hate Middle America and were purposely trying to erase us. Nobody who cared about the People would be angry that our border will be made secure and trespassing aliens will be sent home.
This is good news for everyone except the Democrats and RINO Republicans.
In related news Joe Biden, after eating much ice cream an ttaking his aderol, managed to bemoan the fact his Presidency is melting like the morning dew:
Biden Says His Accomplishments Are "Disappearing So Rapidly" Under Trump
Given his "accomplishments" were all evil and anti-American and made this country weaker, less safe, and poorer I would say "job well done, Mr. Trump!"
We sorely needed to erase Biden.

Goodie gumdrops!
They killed the new tax on wind and solar projects.
This was never anything but a scheme to plunder wealth from the American middle class. IF there was a market for wind and solar they would use wind and solar voluntarilly. The fact is it's an expensive and unreliable energy source that still requires fossil-fuel generators on standby. It was purely a tool to reduce the energy usage of the First World.
I would add that this was promoted by Russia.
Energy is the measure of wealth in the modern world and the internationalists sought to reduce ours to balance us out with the developing world, so we could have relative parity and then create world government.
And this got it's big push under George W. Bush, who began promoting this, sounding almost identical to Jimmy Carter, who pushed it in the '70's as a way to stop "Global Cooling" and to make us less dependent on foreign oil. Bush used identical reasoning, only he worried about Global Warming more than cooling, but in the end it was the same arguments. He continued the policy when it became evident that America had all the oil it needed right here - it was just a matter of going and getting it. Trump is going and getting it. "Renewables" are just a toy for guilt-ridden white liberals to feel good about themselves. (Granted, there are a few people who live off-grid and use it, but they are a huge minority and they do it because it's the only way to get power out in the wilderness where they live.)
The only reason we had electric vehicles and the rest is because government funded it. Without the subsidies the companies will phase this stuff out as they are unprofitable and will remain so for the forseeable future. (I've long argued that we need a major change in how we produce power from wind and solar - the traditional methods don't work very well. We don't need bigger windmills we need some entirely new idea. I've long thought about that without much luck.)
Until there is some major scientific breakthrough that makes it possible to generate power from wind and solar cheaply and efficiently and reliably there will be no market for it. All those subsidies have done is make the connected rich at taxpayer's expense.
So today is independence day - from environmentalist price goughing on our energy systems.

In honor of OBcubed, I give you this sad mutilation of a song by Al Jolson. I wrote it in just minutes so if it isn't any good, I say suck it up:
The Congress cheered, that what I've heard
Just turn out the lights before Jeffries says another word!
in the shadows the Democrats conspire
their anger blazes, some plan to retire
Schumer curses, Pelosi bleats
they invoke a rule from Byrd, the wearer of sheets
they'd thought they'd won some time ago
now Trump and Elon are cutting off the dough
Oh, you beautiful bill, you great big beautiful bill
you will cut our taxes and end the slide
The Dems so made, they can't abide it
Oh you beautiful bill, you great big beautiful bill!
Biden's wife said "let them eat cake" but now she's facing a political earthquake
oh, you beautiful bill! You great big beautiful bill!
Media lies while AOC fantasizes
Dreams of a leftist paradise
while crazy Carville advises
but the voters they could not entice
Squeeze the money from the voters they don't care
give it to leftists, aliens, and dudes with orange hair
while Kamala cackles and AOC does her stare
they want to be king of everything
Now they are in heaps of trouble and some may end in Sing-Sing.
Now the BBB will be fulfilled
now our leaders are working our will
beat the drum, play the fife!
we're headed now for a better life!
oh, you beautiful bill! You great big beautiful bill!

A win at SCOTUS for the Trump Administration (and America).
Court allows Trump administration to move forward in sending group of immigrants to South Sudan
Maybe that judge Cogan guy who issued a nationwide ban on deportations recently can get into a Texas Cage match with whoever wrote the Majority opinion for the Supreme Court. He's already blown off their orders.(It'sodd; the judge who issued the injunction against pulling these men out of Djibouti and inserting them in South Sudan is also Irish - Murphy. What is it with Irish judges and illegal immigrants?)
If they are allowing this they cannot possibly allow Cogan to get away with thumbing his big Irish nose at them.
Currently these deportees are being held in Djibouti. No wisecracks please.
At any rate this article stresses the idiotic dissents from the usual suspects - Brown-Jackson, Kagan, etc. but fails to give one shred from the majority opinion. And of course it was all about how terrible it is to send illegal aliens who invaded the U.S. back to their own country. The dissent said they were being sent back to face arrest and possible torture. Well, if they face arrest and torture, are they people we really want in THIS country? Seems to me they are probably not choir boys.
It is not America's obligation to take in anyone or everyone. These people know the game and claim they seek asylum when they rarely do. This just isn't our problem; we've got to lose the hubris that says Ameria can fix everything. We can't. Right now we need to fix our own country.

Rules are SO for the Bourgeoisie!
Mamdani lied on Columbia application, claimed to be black
FTA:
Columbia, like many elite universities, used a race-conscious affirmative action admissions program at the time. Reporting that his race was Black or African American in addition to Asian could have given an advantage to Mr. Mamdani, who was born in Uganda and spent his earliest years there.
In an interview on Thursday, Mr. Mamdani, 33, said he did not consider himself either Black or African American, but rather "an American who was born in Africa.” He said his answers on the college application were an attempt to represent his complex background given the limited choices before him, not to gain an upper hand in the admissions process. (He was not accepted at Columbia.
In anyone else I would say it was praiseworthy that he doesn't consider himself anything but an American. Sadly he's not a man who seems much interested in BEING an American.
No,I suspect he was just pulling out all the stops to gain acceptance to an elite college (itself an unworthy goal, if you ask me - the elite colleges are the root of our problems.)
Years ago there was a big stink over a white South African immigrant to the U.S. putting down on his college application he was "African American". The school kicked him out when they realized he was a WHITE African American; can't have that!
That is the trouble with basing this on so nebulous a distinction as race; most people have an admixture of blood, and many are they who look white but have native American or Oriental (I hate the phrase "Asian" as all three major racial groups cohabit the continent of Asia) or even black. Many more blacks have Caucasian blood (like Barack Obama). Basically, at this point, there are few who cannot claim some minority blood.
That's why trying to give a leg up to "minorities" is silly; who qualifies? The confederates all accused Abraham Lincoln of having "negro" blood. There were those who accused Adolph Hitler of being part Jewish. And you know what? They might well have been. Who cares? It shouldn't be about your ancestry anyway. (Granted, it's too bad Hitler didn't embrace his potential Jewishnes - he would have been a much better person and would have wound up perhaps being a force for great good in the world rather than monster he became.)
At any rate it's not really about what some kid did in high school so much as about the rank hypocrisy of the Left and how rules only apply to others. They always exempt themselves from the rules they impose. And they do that because in their hearts they believe they are better than the rest of us.

Shouldn't people go to jail for this?
New: CIA Assessment Reveals How Far Obama Administration Went to Frame Trump, Implicates Officials
Brennan, Clapper, and Comey were the unholy trinity that fomentted the "Russian collusion" lie, and did so consciously. Brennan, for instance, excluded 13 of the 17 intelligence agencies so he could avoid anyone objecting. And he hand-picked flunkies who would do his bidding. Oh, and it was Brennan who included the Steele Dossier despite serious doubts about it in the intelligence community.
In other words the Obama Administration purposely sabottaged the incoming administration. And the report concludes this was at the order of Barack Hussein Obama.
How many laws were broken? No doubt at least a dozen.

Another day, another judge making his own laws and ignoring the Supreme Court ruling against sweeping nation-wide injunctions.
DC Judge Allows All Illegal Migrants to Seek Asylum, Halting Deportation
FTA:
The judgment will be appealed, but it argues that the pro-asylum laws passed by Congress decades ago override Trump’s January 20 proclamation, "Guaranteeing the States Protection Against Invasion.”
Trump’s proclamation denied migrants the right to file for amnesty except when made at official entrances to the United States. The proclamation allows Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other agencies to quickly deport migrants without any need to detain them for the months or years needed to resolve an asylum plea in court.
But the judge says illegal migrants can apply for judge-approved asylum anytime and anywhere in the United States as a defense against their deportation. The policy could revive the easy-migration rules imposed by President Barack Obama’s administration that sharply reduced Americans’ wages and spiked housing costs.
Once again a Democrat judge is simply imposing his will on the whole country and just ignoring the SCOTUS ruling which said they can't do that.
The Obama-appointed judge used a cheat, declaring all illegal aliens as a "class" thus making it a class action suit.
These people are truly despicable.

Well, this guy pretty much is the base of the Democratic Party these days, isn't he?
Tim Walz’s Education Department Hired Convicted Sex Offender From Kenya
(No, he's not talking about Barack Obama, who has never been convicted.)
Wilson Nduri Tindi came here on a B-2 visa in 2005 and overstayed, making him an illegal alien. He was convicted of rape in 2015, yet managed to rise to the level of division director of the Minnesota Department of Education.
And this was not a date rape, but a bonafide thing. He broke into the apartment and fondled the woman, attempting to pull her pants off.
He received two years in prison but in liberal Minnesota only served 210 days.
He had been accused in 2012 of a similar crime though the victim chose not to press charges.
And yet Tampon Tim's predecessor Mark Dayton hired this guy anyway in 2018.
This is what you get when you put the Demo-left in charge; Dayton too was a member of the Democratic Farm Labor party (the name of the Democrats in Minnesota).

Didn't SCOTUS just say these clowns can't do this sort of thing?
Judge Blocks DHS From Terminating Temporary Protected Status for Haitian Immigrants
The Trump Administration should simply ignore this jerk. He's overstepping his authority in a willful manner.
District Court Judge Brian M. Cogan in New York issued the nation-wide injuncttion in spite of new rules put in place by the U.S. Supreme Court banning most nationwide injunctions. He says altering the TPS dates is illegal, even though it is solely an executive order put in place by Biden in the first place.
These radical judges are simply going to ignore the SCOTUS ruling and impose these things anyway, apparently. Judge Cogan should be charged with contept of court.
The judge stated in his 23 page opinion (Why does he need 23 pages when this is cut-and-dried?):
But these are not citizens and this is not a "benefit" but rather a kindness extended by the goodness of our hearts to these people, who have no reason to expect anything more of us. Beggars can't be choosers. We've given them protections but nobody said anything about their staying here permanently. That was never part of the deal.
The article continues:
Oh boo hoo! They had no reason to expect to be able to do this; they have been living in America and knew Trump was serious about deporting aliens. Putting down roots in society is nothing but a scam for many of them. You always hear that in court with criminals "he is a member of the community with a job and a kid in school". And it's wide of the point anyway as this judge is merely trying to tug at everyone's heart strings while ignoring the Americans who have suffered under this invasion of Haitians over the years. Where is his compassion for the Americans stabbed to death bya Haitian immigrant in Fayetteville, North Carolina, for instance? Or for Aiden Clark, the 11 year old boy murdered by a haitian? Odd how he bursts with compassion for the Haitians but not their victims.
Nor does he show compasion for taxpayers who are underwriting these jobs and schools and medical care. Who is representing THEIR interests?
This suit was filed by the Service Employees International Union Local 32BJ. How do they have standing? They only have standing because this judge is a fellow traveller and they both want to screw the Trump Administration.
SCOTUS has previously ruled that Trump may indeed strip TPS status from groups and deport them. This judge does not have a leg to stand on - especially since the Court has ruled these lower courts lack the authority to impose nationwide injunctions of this nature.
Somebody really needs to put a bag full of dog poop on this guy's front porch and light it on fire. That's all he's worth.

This is unusual; Hindus are generally peaceable folk.
Over 30 Christians injured in attack by Hindu nationalists wielding axes
Hindus descended on a large prayer meeting wielding axes in a shocking imitation of their Muslim neighbors.
From the Christian Post:
At least 20 people suffered serious injuries and were hospitalized following the assault, which local leaders alleged was carried out by Hindu nationalist groups.
The attack took place in Kotamateru village of Malkangiri district on June 21, when around 20 farming Christian families had assembled to bless seeds before the planting season. Nearly 400 people from nearby villages stormed the area with weapons, including axes, and began what appeared to be a coordinated assault, according to the rights group Christian Solidarity International.
The local police claim the violence stemmed from a personal dispute between two brothers, one Christian and one Hindu, but the Christians involved dispute this claim. They argue:
I don't know but attacking unarmed, harmless folks engaged in prayer is not exactly good for your Karma and probably will result in your being born a dog bred for dog fighting or something.
The police version is just silly; why would so many join with this guy and use axes to attack people they didn't know over a personal dispute?
Hindus don't like Christians. They fear we are trying to impose our culture and values on them. Mother Theresa of Calcutta - who was beloved in India - faced considerable resistance early in her ministry, and only became beloved when she didn't try to preach any Christianity but simply showed God's love to the destitute and dying (her ministry was primarily to take in dying people so they could perish with some dignity rather on the streets, where their bodies were often just left to rot.)
I hate to hear this because I generally have a good amount of respect for Hindus. I am convinced they are wrong, but they can make a good case and they believe it.
Most Hindus practice ahimsa, which says one should be kind to all other living beings. I suppose these guys are practicing Ahearsa, as they believe in butchering other living beings. (A hearse is a hearse of curse of curse...)
Actually they may be followers of Shiva and less so Brahma.
At any rate it's a terrible thing. Why go after Christians when they are natural allies against the Muslims who are always attacking Indians? Foolish.

Donald Trump suggested in his remarks at the newly-opened Alligator Alcatraz that former DHS head Allejandro Myorkas should be arrested and perhaps made an inmate at the facility.
Of course the media is melting down over this, but the fact remains Myorkas was guilty of not only dereliction of duty but has caused untold damage to our country and way of life; he simply refused to take the most basic actions with which he was charged. In fact he was impeached for it but Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer refused to allow a trial. (This article mistakenly says the U.S. Senate acquitted him - the fact is there never was a trial. The senate simply dismissed the charges without a public trial, because if he had been tried what the Biden policies had led to would have shocked and horrified the American People. They simply killed it quietly.)
Joe Biden didn't give Myorkas a pre-emptive pardon.
So I'm all for any sort of legal charges that can justifiably be brought against Myorkas. He has much to answer for - and the American People need to learn just how bad it was.

Trump wins a big setttlement from Paramount and CBS.
Part of the agreement is supposedly they donate to conservative causes, as well as impose the "Trump rule" which says they must release transcripts and other information in their entirety.
The suit stems from selective editing of an interview with Kamala Harris before the election.
Of course the media has selectively edited multiple statements by Donald Trump over the years to make him look bad. For example, there is the infamous "good Nazis" claim made based on selective editing of Trump's press conference after the riot over Confederat monuments in Charlottesville, Va. Trump specifically condemned white supremacism in his preamble, then said there were good people on both sides - meaning pro-and-con honoring Confederates. The whole rally was to register disapproval of plans to remove long-standing statues of Confederates. But the media cut all but "good people on both sides" then pretended to believe he was saying there were good Nazis and Klansmen, completely ignoring what he actually said. BTW the Wikipedia entry for Charlottesville Unite the Right Rally calls it a "white supremacist rally" which it was not. Of course that lie is at the top of a Google search.
That's how the Left twists and manipulates the news and how the public perceives things; they lie by omission as much as by, uh, mission.
There are pllenty of other examples involving Donald Trump and I can't go through all of them here. His call to the Ukrainian President (for which he was impeached) is another example. If you read the transscript you see there was never a quid-pro-quo offererd, and Trump was simply pushing them to honor their agreement with the U.S. to go after corruption. There are many others.
Omitting details, coloring the facts, etc. is the media's bread and butter and it has worked for decades. How many people knew Barack Obama was in the Communist New Party in Chicago? How many knew he went to Occidental University on a scholarship provided by the U.S. taxpayers - as a foreign exchange student? How many know he has a Connecticut social security number? How many even know what a "community organizer" is or that he worked for ACORN, a now-defunct vote fraud operation? How many know his wife had a very high paying job at a hospital, a no-show job? All of these things were simply not reported. This goes way back too; Franklyn Roosevelt was in a wheelchair and nobody knew it because the American media simply refused to tell the public since they supported him.
At any rate Trump is going to put some of the $30 million towards legal fees and then use the rest for his Presidential library as well as donate it to conservative causes.
God bless him; he's the first guy we've had since Reagan who is willing to fight back against these clowns (and Reagan still avoided tangling with the media). If everyone would do this the media would have no choice but report fairly. But of course most people don't have the resources to fight the media.
